Guaranteed to all from birth,
The great democratizer,
Inevitable,
Invariably present to all.

Men try in vain to
Delay me,
Avoid me,
Harness me,
Befriend me,
Ignore me,
Replace me.

So many take me
Personally,
Beg me to come back later,
Tell me to go away.
Few welcome me to sit
At their table.

You may be rich,
You may be poor,
You may be good,
You may be evil,
You may be powerful,
You may be weak.
None of these make a
Difference to me.
I am, I am coming for 
You.
