Cotton-like Flowers in Iceland
I have always been taking pictures. As a child in the single digits, I watched my father taking photos with a variety of cameras, from instamatics to SLRs like the Pentax Asahi. Further back, my maternal grandparents had a photography studio in the early part of their careers. I started taking pictures of my own when I turned 11 and was gifted a Kodak instamatic for my birthday. Later I would take the Pentax over in middle school and I ran around with that camera through high school and college. It was that Pentax and a few point and shoot digitals that took me to the early 2000s. I got a Nikon D80 in 2006 and loved the rich and distinctive character of the photos from that DX camera. Then it was iPhone photos from about 2014 till present. Now I’m using a Nikon Z8 and the majority of the photos in this set of galleries were taken with that stellar shooter.
